This stainless steel pump can be used in both open and closed systems. Grundfos UPS pumps are of the canned-rotor type, i.e. pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. This pump is comparable in size to Taco 0011, 0014, Bell & Gossett NRF-36 and NRF-45 pumps. 3 Speed pump for extreme flexibility. Removable check valve eliminates need for an in-line flow check valve. Ceramic bearings ensure years of quiet, trouble-free operation. Electronic starting unit provides the highest starting torque of any circulator in its class. Quick connect terminals for easy installation.
